Prices & T&C’s

Tuition takes place either in person or online, both in term time and school holidays. An initial consultation session allows me to establish the foundations for effective learning for future sessions.

Sessions can take place Monday to Friday, before or after school hours, in person or online. For home educated children, sessions can take place during the day if preferred.

Weekend sessions are welcomed. Please contact me to discuss.

Sessions last for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 55 minutes.

Please enquire for prices, including for block bookings.

I aim to be fully flexible wherever possible on session times to enable children to work at times most suited to them.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a designated learning space within my home for in-person sessions equipped with a wide range of engaging resources to support students’ learning.

Some families choose to have their child tutored online and this is a service which I offer.

My online sessions comprise of 1:1 or small groups of children with the use of Zoom and Google Classroom to teach, set work and provide feedback on lessons.

I provide tuition after school from Monday-Friday and during the day for home educated pupils. I also offer tuition at weekends on request.

I offer tuition both in term time and/or school holidays. I ensure that I am available for tuition throughout the holidays to provide consistency for children and support in allowing for the fastest rate of progress by providing tuition in the holidays.

Sessions can be booked for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 55 minutes.

Parents book children in to attend and pay in advance of sessions.

An increasing number of children are feeling overwhelmed by school or parents are looking for an alternative way to educate their children outside of the education system. There are many reasons why families choose to home educate their children and I provide lessons during the day to support families with this.

I discuss the setting of homework with individual parents. If decided that this will be beneficial, I set homework which is designed to allow children the opportunity to practise the skills they have learnt in their sessions with me. These activities may be written, involve rapid recall through the use of flashcards or I may suggest some websites which children might want to refer to at home.

Lessons run back-to-back and so I unfortunately do not always have the time to discuss progress immediately after your child’s session. I regularly send messages to parents following lessons and provide an end of half term report detailing the areas we have covered and the progress that children have made in our sessions.
